David Stewart Ireland, 50, went home to be with the Lord he loved and served on August 29, 2019. Born in Kampala, Uganda in 1969, he was the son of David and Lois Ireland. He served in the navy for 4 years and the reserves for 4 years. He served His Lord through various church groups like Awana where he taught Bible lessons and worked with the Trek group. He was heavily involved with Youth group and Sunday night kids club helping with games and Bible lessons.

Probably his most favorite was being choir director of the Hiawassa Bible Chapel choir where for Christmas 2018 and Easter 2019 he taught them cantatas that turned out so well. He loved his job as attractions trainer at Universal Orlando and always provided a calm peaceful fun atmosphere for his coworkers.

He was preceded in death by his son Jacob Leroy Ireland (2009). He is survived by his wife Jody, his 4 children Aaron (25), Laura (25), Ruth (7) and Rebekah (5), his mother and father David and Lois Ireland, his brother Daniel(Rebecca) Ireland, Deborah (Edward), and Dawn, one granddaughter Isabella, 10 nieces and nephews, 25 cousins and many brothers and sisters in Christ.
