By Lene Caracas-Apuntar | | Mar 25, 2019

Tina J. Johnson, age 48, wife, mother, daughter and friend, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at Advent Hospital in Orlando, FL.

Tina is survived by her husband, William “Bill” and their son, Lucas, her parents, Linda and Wayne Snowden, her grandmother, Trudy Muldowney, her sister of the heart, Kerri Panther, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends who will miss her dearly.

Tina was born on July 2, 1970, in Lompoc, CA. Her parents, Wayne and Linda Snowden, as well as her sister, Sherry, were so excited to welcome her home. Tina also had a sister of the heart, Pamela Temple. Tina attended schools in Lompoc and graduated in 1988. She also attended classes at Allan Hancock Community College.

On her graduation day Bill put a ring on her finger and in July 1988 Tina married the love of her life, Bill Johnson. They welcomed a son into their lives in December of 1994. She remained a devoted wife and mother.

Tina was a kind, quiet and gentle person. She listened and took time to get to know you. When she let you into her world it was a privilege. Tina was a compassionate person and loved working with physically and intellectually challenged children. She worked as an instructional assistant in special education in California and also had been an amazing sister to the foster children that came through her childhood home.

Tina and her family made the decision to move to Titusville, FL in 2003 and make it their home.

Tina was preceded in death by her sisters, Sherry Snowden and Pamela Temple.

Tina, along with her family and friends in the Mims congregation, enjoyed sharing the Bible’s message of the promised resurrection of life for those who have passed away. Tina would want us to focus on that hope and think ahead to the time we will see her again.
