Obituary for Danny Harold Hime

By Lene Caracas-Apuntar | | Jan 8, 2019

Danny Harold Hime II, 28, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on January 1, 2019.

He was preceded his sister, Jessica Hime; his grandmother, Lourena Greer Hime; his paternal grandfather, Ray Hime; his maternal grandfather, Lee Roy Lumpkin; and his cousins, Bobby Hime and Brandon Gross.

He is survived by parents, Vickie and Danny Hime; his fiancee, Tiffany Brewer; his daughter, Tayla Hime; his sisters, Christina and Danielle Hime; his maternal grandmother, Janice Martin; his nephews, Trent Hicks and Hunter Tate; his niece, Shyann Tate; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Danny was a devoted Father, Son, brother, and friend. He loved to cook. He was an outdoors man who loved fishing and being on the water. He was in a surfing accident that left him paralyzed 5 years ago, but he didn’t let the wheel chair define him. He did more in that chair than most able bodied people he knew; one being teaching his daughter how to ride a bike with no training wheels. He overcame many obstacles that life threw at him. He loved his family and would do anything he had to do to provide for them. Danny was a awesome salesman, he could sell ice to an Eskimo. He had a heart of gold and touched many peoples lives. He was loved so much and will be forever missed.

A visitation will take place at Eastland Baptist Church on Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00pm. A funeral ceremony will take place on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 12:30pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Orlando Chapel. Entombment will take place following the funeral ceremony at Woodlawn Cemetery in Gotha, Florida.
